Jackson came out to hunt with his father and brother. The boys had a good trip! This was Jacksons first deer hunt. The hunt lasted all of 2 hours. The guide and Jackson couldn’t pass this beautiful 27-inch mule deer.

We have been experiencing a bit of a whitetail deer increase over the last couple of seasons. While the mule deer are going through a bit of hard times from drought, the whitetails are doing good and getting big.

We have completed our first year offering elk hunting trips. The results were not too bad. We are doing trips in the famed Bull Mountains of Montana. The elk in the area are big and plentiful.

Well, the 2022 season is in the books as they say. It was a fantastic fishing season and a hideous hunting season. The Missouri River was at its very best for big fish and lots of them!

The hot days of summer have been still producing some good fishing on the Mighty Mo. The dry-fly fishing has been really good despite the warm water and high air temperatures.

Well gang, the hopper fishing has been better than I’ve seen in many years. Forty eats a day will keep things interesting. I’m not sure what causes a great hopper fishing season on the Mighty Mo other than a strong hopper crop.

We are coming into the dog days of summer over here on the Missouri River. We get some hot temperatures this time of year. The fishing has been really good despite the heat.

Well folks, we are halfway through the season. I like the first half more than the second half. The fishing has been stellar up to this point! I have landed more big brown trout than ever before and that is saying a lot.

Well folk, the fishing has been outstanding up to this point. I have landed more brown trout over 22 inches than ever before. Multiple two footers have been captured. Obviously, we have some upper age class fish in the river.

May is a great month to fly fish the Missouri River. The water temps are starting to warm a bit and the fish are really responding. Hatches are the Mother’s Day caddis and March Browns.
